McWay Falls is located near Big Sur, CA in the Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park along pacific coast highway. My adventure to photograph this place began at 3am I had to drive 3 hours to get to McWay Falls before the sun came up. I noticed that there was not too much traffic at this hour as most normal people are sleeping but not this photographer. I was on a mission. I arrived to the falls at about 6am no one was in site so I found a spot that I liked, set up the tripod and began taking my photographs. This is one of the original photograph I found appealing. After this I was off to Big Sur and Piedras Blancas which turned out to be a 12 mile hike I wasn't anticipating. During the 12 mile hike while I was walking on the beach there were 8 vultures some on the beach some in the sky. I was feeling like they were thinking I was dinner.
