Day at the Pier as the tide rolls in to the beach. The sandy beach at Ventura Pier is the main central beach of Ventura. The San Buenaventura City Pier is an old wooden structure pier on wooden pilings that attracts fishermen and tourists who visit the Ventura area waterfront. The view from the ventura beach pier looks out over Pierpont Bay toward the Channel Islands. World famous Surfers Point is a hot spot for surfing.
